Campus Safety Officer - Full Time (accepting applications/resumes through June 28th)
Provides safety services that assist the campus community in maintaining order and/or improving the personal safety of the students, faculty, staff and guests and ensures the security of Academy property. Must possess and maintain a valid operator's license. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and be 21 years of age or older. Computer experience required. Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office products and internet-based software programs. Must demonstrate excellent judgment as well as strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Associate's degree preferred. Previous experience in a campus safety field preferred, but not required. Customer service experience desirable.
Counterworker
Provide customer service to the Phelps Academy Grill. Strong commitment to service. Must be at least 16 years old. Must be able to read and write. Must be capable of doing simple math calculations. Part-time, schedule may vary according to Academy needs.
Custodian - Full Time - (Second Shift)
Ensures that the assigned building and surrounding areas provide comfort, safety and a homelike atmosphere through effective cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous custodial experience preferred.
Lead Custodian/Shift Coordinator (Second Shift)
Provides leadership and coordination for the second shift facilities management operation, with a primary focus on custodial services. Coordinates with the campus safety and compliance department and trades personnel to ensure communication and collaboration on issues. Provides cleaning and set-up services to assigned areas. Previous custodial experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Pot washer/Utilities
This position is responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of pots, pans, prep tables and equipment in the kitchen and adjacent areas. High school graduate or GED preferred. Must be able to read and write. Knowledge of large-scale food service operation, equipment and methods of cleaning is preferred. Previous experience in institutional food service or housekeeping is helpful.
