Accountant - Accounts Receivable
This position will support the Accounting Office's mission: to provide quality financial services to the Academy and outside constituencies, through timely and accurate processing of tuition and student loan accounts. Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience. General knowledge of personal computers using spreadsheets, word processing and database software, degree in Accounting. Requires knowledge of basic accounting principles, good communication and customer service skills, the ability to perform detailed accounting work and professional judgment. Must be able to organize, establish priorities, and work independently and as a team member.
Accountant - General Ledger
This position is responsible for general ledger accounting functions for the current restricted fund and operations area of the financial statements, from process and analysis through reconciliation and reporting, ensuring the complete and accurate accounting of current restricted fund accounts. In addition, this position will reconcile gift transmittals and all other receipts to the Academy and maintain related records, while performing several other accounting functions, working closely with other members of the department to support daily operations. Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required. CPA preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years of accounting experience. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong technical and advanced Excel skills. Must be able to organize, establish priorities, and work independently and as a team member.
Community Service Coordinator
The Community Service Coordinator will provide our students with the knowledge, skills and motivation that will integrate goodness into their lives at the Academy. The Community Service Coordinator will develop strategies to provide outreach and service learning opportunities within and beyond the Exeter community. High School diploma or GED required. College degree preferred. Program development and supervisory experience required. Experience with leading volunteer projects and working with adolescents preferred. Experience working in an institutional or educational setting with multiple constituents helpful.
Director of Human Resources
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the HR department, and developing HR policies and programs for faculty, administrators and staff. The Director develops strategies to recruit, develop, motivate, assess and retain top talent who enable Exeter to pursue its mission. Major areas of responsibility include administrator and staff recruitment, compensation and benefits, organizational development, employee relations and employment law. Additionally, the HR Director serves in an advisory capacity for the Academy's Principal and Trustees as a member of the Principal's Staff. Bachelor's degree or human resources professional certification preferred. Minimum of ten years experience in an HR leadership capacity. The successful candidate will possess a collaborative leadership style and the ability to manage effectively in a complex organization.
Assisting the gallery director in the daily operation of the Lamont Gallery. College degree required, fine arts or art history degree preferred. Database and website management experience preferred. Previous gallery experience required, with demonstrated organizational, bookkeeping, and budget management skills. Proficiency in MS Office required, familiarity with Apple
computers and related programs preferred. Database experience required, website management.
Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst provides analytical and accounting support for the Academy's investment portfolio and is responsible for the Academy's insurance program and provides budget and other general financial analysis support. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Five to ten years of experience, preferably including accounting and financial analysis roles. Experience with alternative investments and insurance preferred. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and strong Excel skills. Demonstrated ability to learn and master complex concepts and systems quickly.
