Academy Center Assistant
Assistants oversee the evening and weekend functioning of Academy Center activities and facility. Generally 10-20 hours per week including nights and weekends. Schedule may vary according to Academy needs. High school diploma or GED required.
Childcare Associate Teacher
Assists and supports the classroom teachers in creating a warm and caring environment for young children. Associates or Bachelors Degree with at least nine credits in early childhood education. Must have CPR and First Aid training or be willing to get certification.
Athletic Facilities Building Monitor
Provides monitoring and visibility to ensure the protection of facilities and the personal safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors to the gymnasium complex, tennis courts and ice rink areas. High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in safety/security field preferred, but not required. Demonstrated ability to deal with adults, adolescents and children in a pleasant, cooperative manner required. Must have demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Childcare Teachers Assistant
This position will assist in creating a warm and caring and safe environment for young children while working under the direct supervision and observation of classroom teachers. Must be at least 16 years of age. Must have CPR and first-aid training or be willing to get certification. Previous experience with infants, toddlers and/or pre-school age children required. Must be able to communicate well with children, parents and other staff. Proven ability to multi-task and shift priorities frequently. Must possess the ability to teach in a team atmosphere with high energy, flexibility, and patience.
Hosts are responsible for the coordination of food and supplies necessary for meal services, and for the operation of the dining area assigned, including the arrangement,
cleaning and condition of furnishings and equipment. High school graduate or GED preferred. ServeSafe Certification preferred; training available. Must be able to
read and write and perform mathematical calculations. Knowledge of food presentation and the use of appropriate equipment and tools preferred.
Second Cook (On-Call)
This position ensures consistent and timely production, quality, quantity and presentation of hot and cold foods. High school graduate or GED required; culinary arts degree or equivalent experience/training in the field preferred. Must be able to perform basic math calculations for recipe conversions. ServeSafe Certification preferred. Demonstrated experience as an assistant cook in a similar sized operation for a minimum of one year. Knowledge of quantity food production in accordance with current principals, practices, methods and materials as required.
Provides set-up and delivery duties for the Academy community. Works closely with the Senior Manager for Events and Services and a variety of campus functional areas in the planning and execution of campus events and deliveries. High school diploma and valid driver's license required. Previous custodial experience preferred. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be familiar with computer based systems in order to use programs for email, work orders, and events management.
Utilities Dishwasher (Part-Time)
This position performs key functions within the dish area to ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of all flatware, trays, dishware, service ware, glass ware, catering ware and kitchen areas. High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
