Athletic Assistant Coach - Spring Track - Throws
Instruct or coach teams and individual students in the fundamentals of shot, discus and/or javelin. Prepare athletes for competition via demonstration, skill development activities and the creation of a productive and competitive day to day environment. High School diploma, college degree preferred
Dining Services Host
Hosts are responsible for the coordination of food and supplies necessary for meal services and for the operation of the dining area assigned, including the arrangement, cleaning and condition of furnishings and equipment. High school graduate or GED preferred. ServeSafe Certification preferred; training available. Must be able to read and write and perform mathematical calculations. Hours vary according to scheduled shift and Academy needs. Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Horticulturalist/Plant Specialist
This position assists the Grounds/Automotive Manager and Horticulturalist with coordination and execution of landscape design, improvement and planting. Performs installation and maintenance of plantings. Valid operator's license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle required. Three year's experience in the horticultural field, including direct experience with plants, and gardens required. Minimum of an Associate's degree preferred. Education or training in horticultural or plant sciences, Master Gardner Certification desired. Irrigation experience preferred.
Lifeguard
Observe swimmers and enforce regulations in the guarding of life and the prevention of accidents at the Academy's swimming pool. Must hold current certifications in lifeguarding.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician's Assistant (Per-diem)
Per-diem/on-call, academic year position responsible for providing primary care to students with physician consultation as needed. Must be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant licensed in the State of New Hampshire with National Certification as an ARNP or PA. 3 - 5 years of experience treating adolescents or young adults (e.g. family practice, internal medicine, or pediatrics) preferred with experience in women's healthcare required.
On Call - Student Transportation
Provide on-call driving services for the Academy. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
On Call Per-Diem Staff Nurse
On-call Per-Diem Staff Nurse is needed when school is in session, may include weekends. Schedule may vary according to Academy needs. The staff nurse uses a team approach to healthcare, applying nursing processes, medical procedure and testing, critical thinking and referral. The nurse effectively interacts with students, parents, and others with the aim of assisting students to assume responsibility for their own wellness. RN with current nursing license. Two years previous experience working with adolescents in a healthcare setting.
On-Call Cook
On-call position to provide coverage for busy seasons throughout the year and departmental absences.
Substitute Childcare Teacher
On-call childcare needed to cover when staff members are out. Infants, toddlers, pre-school and kindergarten experience preferred.
