Current Part-Time & On-Call positions

Academy Center Assistant
Assistants oversee the evening and weekend functioning of Academy Center activities and facility.  Generally 10-20 hours per week including nights and weekends.  Schedule may vary according to Academy needs.  High school diploma or GED required.

Art Gallery Attendant (on-call)
This on-call position contributes to the functioning of the Lamont Gallery by ensuring effective, professional security of gallery displays and by providing support for gallery visitors and office.

Childcare Associate Teacher
Assists and supports the classroom teachers in creating a warm and caring environment for young children. Associates or Bachelors Degree with at least nine credits in early childhood education. Must have CPR and First Aid training or be willing to get certification.

Groundsperson - (part-time)
Maintains and preserves the Academy's physical environment to ensure a clean, safe appearance and functional condition for those visiting, working on, and using the main campus, Academy woods, parking areas and trails. Valid operator's license and ability to operate a standard transmission vehicle required.

Head Boys JV Swim Coach - Position closed October 31, 2014
Instruct or coach teams and individual students in the fundamentals of sports. Demonstrate techniques and methods of participation. May evaluate athletes' strengths and weaknesses as possible recruits or to improve the athletes' technique to prepare them for competition. High School diploma, college degree preferred.  Played sport in high school or college or has reached a level of expertise in the sport as an adult through participation, coaching or through a formal coaching development program.

Cook (On-Call)
On-call position to provide coverage for busy seasons throughout the year and departmental absences. 

Substitute Childcare Teacher
This position will work with all childcare center teachers to create a warm and caring environment for young children meeting the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of each child.  Associates or Bachelor's degree with at least nine credits in early childhood education/development including 3 credits in human growth and development and three years' experience working with infants and young children preferred. Must have CPR and First Aid training or be willing to get certification.  Previous experience with infants, toddlers pre-school, kindergarten and/or elementary school age children required.  Must be able to communicate well with children, parents and other staff.

Third Cook 
Supports other cooks in ensuring the consistent and timely production, quality and quantity of the food to be served in the units.  Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights and weekends.

Utilities Dishwasher (Part-Time)
This position performs key functions within the dish area to ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of all flatware, trays, dishware, service ware, glass ware, catering ware and kitchen areas.  High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
