Physical Education Intern

The Physical Education Department is seeking an intern for the 2016-2017 school year. For this position, an undergraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is desired and some competitive collegiate athletic experience and/or competitive coaching experience is preferred. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the physical education program and coaching in the interscholastic athletic program. Contributions in other areas of boarding school life include dormitory residence and interscholastic or club sports. Phillips Exeter Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Technical Theater Intern

The Department of Theater and Dance is seeking an intern in technical theater for the 2016-2017 school year with training in construction, rigging, and painting. The job may also entail administrative work such as paying bills, maintaining a production budget and calendar, and overseeing house and box office management in collaboration with student proctors. Principal duties include constructing and painting sets for three main stage shows, as well as assisting the lighting and sound intern in changeovers to three dance concerts. The intern will train and utilize a student tech crew to implement the set, lighting, and sound design. The intern will assistant teach Stagecraft with a department faculty member. Intern in the Office of Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is seeking an intern for the 2016-2017 school year. This position is designed for a recent college graduate who has a history of leadership in diversity or multicultural activities. The intern will assist the Dean of Multicultural Affairs, and the International Student Coordinator, with all programming and initiatives that come out of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, assist with advising various cultural clubs and multicultural student groups, supervise student proctors, and serve on a number of committees. Other responsibilities include on and off campus chaperoning, dormitory residence, and the option to coach an interscholastic sport.  Phillips Exeter Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
