Theater and Dance Intern

The Department of Theater and Dance is seeking an intern in technical theater for the 2015-2016 school year with training in lighting and sound.  Experience in costume construction and set construction/painting is also desirable.  Principal duties include designing lights for three main stage shows, three dance concerts, two variety shows and possibly a black box show.  The intern will work closely with the designer/technical director to implement his or her designs and assists the technical director with supervision of a student tech crew.  Assistant teaching with a mentor in stagecraft or independently is possible, as is teaching a special topics design course.  Phillips Exeter Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Physical Education Intern

The Physical Education Department is seeking an intern for the 2015-2016 school year.  For this position, an undergraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field is desired and some competitive collegiate athletic experience and/or competitive coaching experience is preferred. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the physical education program and coaching in the interscholastic athletic program.  Contributions in other areas of boarding school life include dormitory residence and interscholastic or club sports. Intern in the Office of Multicultural Affairs

The Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is seeking an intern for the 2015-2016 school year. This position is designed for a recent college graduate who has a history of leadership in diversity or multicultural activities. The intern will assist the Dean of Multicultural Affairs, and the International Student Coordinator, with all programming and initiatives that come out of the Office of Multicultural Affairs, assist with advising various cultural clubs and multicultural student groups, supervise student proctors, and serve on a number of committees. Art Intern

The Art Department is seeking an intern in for the 2015-2016 school year with training and experience in 3D and industrial design with an emphasis on apparel and related studio studies. This position is designed for a recent graduate with a fine arts degree. Working knowledge of 3D printing, prototyping and related technology is desired.
