Retirement Pension with TIAA-CREF

TIAA-CREF (Teachers Insurance Annuity Association & College Retirement Equities Fund) retirement benefits begin at the full-time date of hire, providing an employee is age 21 or older.  If an employee is under age 21, the employee will be eligible to participate after one year of employment or when he/she turns age 21, whichever occurs first.  Employees are not required to contribute to the retirement plan, but are certainly encouraged to do so.  For employees under age 50, the Academy will contribute 9% of salary to an annuity contract.  For employees age 50 and older, the Academy’s contribution is 12%.
