Accounting

The Accounting Office is headed by the Controller.  She and her staff maintain all financial books and records. The responsibilities of the department include payroll administration; budget administration; departmental accounting; the maintenance of endowment and current gifts, plant and student loan funds; accounts receivable and accounts payable processing; and cashiering.

The Accounting Office provides the Exeter community with various financial services. Accounts Payable processes and pays bills for all departments on campus. Faculty, staff and student accounts are maintained by Accounts Receivable. The Cashier cashes checks, receives payment on account, and processes petty cash reimbursements. The Assistant Controller provides assistance and information regarding financial statements, budgets and the budgeting process. The Payroll Administrator and Payroll Assistant receive time sheets, process payroll, set up direct deposits, and answer payroll questions. The Accountants for endowment, plant, and gifts maintain the endowment, current gift and plant assets, and provide information regarding fund balances upon request.
