- In addition to the Physical Education requirement, all students must take courses totaling 15 academic credits per year. Most students take five one-credit courses per term. However, Health and Human Development and some applied music instruction allow for exceptions to this practice. (See the notes at the end of the music section and the Health and Human Development section.)
- No student may take more than five full-credit academic courses in any term.
- No student may take fewer than four full-credit academic courses in a given term.
- No student may take academic courses totaling six credits in a given term except for ninth-graders and new 10thgraders, who may take five full credit academic courses, 2/3 credit in applied music or dance and 1/3 credit in health.
