Turning Up the Heat: Exeter vs. Andover
May 24, 2007
Girls lacrosse will take on Andover, then head to the National Tournament in Bethlehem, PA
Andover will feel the burn this Saturday as Big Red heats up along with the temperature to play its season finales against this long-time rival. Both Boys and Girls Tennis got a jump on things, playing Andover on Wednesday, while Girls Lacrosse is scheduled to take them on this Friday evening, May 25.
Big Red has had a strong showing this season: Girls Water Polo, Girls Track and the Cycling team have already secured 2007 New England Championships. Boys and Girls Crew still have their eyes on New England Championships, and will row the NEIRA Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, MA, this Saturday, May 26.
Girls Crew has set its sights even further, and will head with an eight and a coxed four to England in June. The girls will compete first in the Reading Amateur Regatta on June 16, then travel to the Henley Women's Regatta scheduled for June 22-24.
In another season accomplishment, four members of the Girls Lacrosse team have been selected to play as members of the Upper New England Team at the National Tournament at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, this Memorial Day weekend.
