Interests and Activities:
I am currently involved in PEAN (layout associate); Los Salseros (co-head); WPEA (proctor and DJ) and the Discipline Committee. I am a volunteer for Head Start and the Harris Family Children's Center; a Tour Guide; an E-Proctor; a member of the Swim team; co-captain of JV Water Polo; and I take private lessons in flute, guitar and voice.
Why I Chose Exeter:
I saw Exeter as a remarkable opportunity to pursue my dreams. I had many ambitions, but I hoped to find a passion in one of the drawers Exeter's bureau held. The method of teaching Exeter used, Harkness, was different and difficult at first for me to grasp.
What I Like About Exeter:
No one is lost behind others in class and you see everyone for who they are at the table. Other than the academic rigors and challenges Exeter offers, I believe that the people I encounter on a daily basis are my favorite part. There is so much diversity to immerse yourself in and, at the Harkness table, diversity is used to our advantage by bringing in different opinions and viewpoints that some would never imagine. The faculty is included in this as well. I learn something new everyday from all these brilliant minds!
