The Grainger Observatory
The Phillips Exeter Academy Grainger Observatory is a state of the art facility for astronomical research. The facility includes three domed observatories, a heated classroom building with library and numerous additional instruments to assist students with their research. The observatory is used by the three astronomy courses at the Academy as well as by other courses as required. The facility is also open to the public on clear Friday evenings when school is in session.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- There will be no public observing for the weeks of November 18th and 25th. The last public observing session of this term will be December 5th from 8:00PM to 9:00PM. Call 603-777-3545 for weather details and last minute notices. We will retart public observing once again in January 2009.
