Overall record: 5 - 1

The team trained hard and improved over the ten weeks of the season. Despite missing the first race (the team's only dual loss), Captains Amy Schuman and Natalie Russell picked up steam over the course of the season and literally led the team to victory in every other race. The team was strengthened in the middle by new students, Stephanie Black-Schaffer and Adrea Piazza, and the sister combination of Margaret and Lauren Ayers. Captains Madison Gilmore and Meredith Sopher led the team to victory over Brooks in the closest race of the season.  The team had perfect scores against Portsmouth High School, NMH and Deerfield. At Interschols this past Saturday, the team ran smart and tough in the wind and cold on a tough course at Choate. They finished second to a very strong Andover team.
