The team’s synergy was on display in the Homecoming game vs. Andover, in which the Exeter team avenged a mid-season shutout loss. The defense led the day, digging every attack and refusing to let the ball hit the floor. Moving and communicating as a team, the girls made great defensive plays leading to great offensive plays. Down 26-29 in the first game, they rallied for five straight points to take the game. The second game was close most of the way, until The Big Red broke open a 28-20 lead. The third game was nothing but Exeter, limiting Andover to 9 points. This game ended a five-year dry spell against the Blue and provides fuel for Wednesday's quarterfinal match-up against Deerfield.

For their play through the season, Kate Kelly, Willa Cockshutt and Talia Bolnick were selected to play in the New England All-Star Tournament.
