Girls Lacrosse: 2009 Season Roundup
Highlights
- Showing great strength and resilience after tough losses against Nobles and Deerfield.
- A win over Pingree by one goal.
- Their continual work on passing and transitional movement out.
- The team played their finest against Andover May 23 and got an upset win. Allie Arnal had one of her best games of the season and with the crowd on edge the last 3 minutes of the game, Exeter proved they were the stronger team with a composed, confident, together 3 minute stall.
Special Recognition
- Caroline Hayes and Katharine Pujol who were recognized by our opposing teams as the offensive and defensive All Stars.
Caroline competed in the Walker memorial All Star Game in mid May.
- Cristina Bravi is the recipient of the 2009 Jardine Award for her team spirit, daily work ethic and strong defensive play.
- Caroline Hayes, Becca Ryan, Chelsea Brewer and Campbell Probert were members of the Upper New England Team 1. Hannah Najar was a member of the UNE Team 2. All girls competed in the Women & Girls National Lacrosse Tournament last weekend at University of Maryland.
