Cycling: 2009 Season Roundup
The Cycling team continued to establish itself as one of the top programs in New England by winning a sixth consecutive New England Championship. With fifteen schools being represented this season, Exeter finished the season with 835 points, ahead of 2nd place Andover with 660 points and 3rd place Gould Academy with 615 points.
The season long series saw close competition from the beginning. Exeter won 6 of the 8 races in the series this year, including the Exeter Cup which was won by Andover last year. Exeter A boys also took home the individual championship. Ryan Harned became the individual NE champ by winning on the last day of the series. He had help from teammates Will Stoutin, Eric Caine and Rafi Frankfurter. The Big Red was able to beat Andover in their annual dual meet to cap off a great season. Congratulations to the entire team
