The Carbon Committee (CC) was formed in 2006 by a group of concerned students, who saw a need for addressing the climate crisis right here at the Academy.  Focusing solely on climate change, the CC sponsors guest speakers, forums, documentary screenings, and other educational outreach programs.  Working with the Administration and Facilities Management, the CC wrote a 54 page Carbon Neutrality proposal, brought the Green Schools Alliance Climate Pledge to campus, and helps facilitate events during the Green Cup Challenge.
