Climate Commitment

Our efforts to reduce the Academy's greenhouse gas emissions scale from what we teach inside the classroom to how we manage our forested land.  Lighting retrofits, computer upgrades, LEED certified buildings, signing the Green Schools Alliance Climate Commitment, participating in the Green Cup Challenge, using biodiesel, conducting energy audits, conserving open space, and reducing solid waste are examples of the steps we have taken to reduce our effect on climate change.  At Exeter we recognize that we each play a role in the climate change problem and are committed to taking action on solutions whenever possible.
