The Exeter Association of New England held an afternoon of community service at the Gaining Ground Gardens on the Thoreau Birthplace Property in Concord, MA. Association President Karin Chamberlain '88 organized the event. Gaining Ground grows food for hunger relief with the help of community volunteers. Among those exercising the spirit of non sibi were (top) Parker Shipton '71 with wife Polly Steele and daughter Susannah; (middle) Mary Greenwald '77 and daughter Isabel Hajian; and (bottom) Lucia Wang P'04, Mary Greenwald '77 and Paige Boncher '04. |

| Brooks Pearson '89
organized a New England Association event at the Harpoon Brewery in
Boston. Rich Doyle '78, president of the Mass Bay Brewing Company,
gave remarks about the brewery and its history. In attendance were

and (bottom) Jeremy Theerman and Chelsea Theerman '97.
