Biography

Jeanette Lovett joined the Science Department at Exeter in 2014 and currently serves as a chemistry instructor, ice hockey coach, rowing coach and dormitory head. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in human biology from Brown University, where she also helped the women’s crew team win two NCAA Division I national championships. Ms. Lovett later earned her M.Ed. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Prior to joining the Exeter faculty, Ms. Lovett taught at her alma mater, Phillips Academy Andover, and then the Dana Hall School in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She lives in Gould House with her husband and their Pembroke Welsh corgi, and in her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, outdoor activities and puzzles of all kinds.
