John E. Mosley

Biography

John joins Exeter from the University of Kentucky, where he recently completed his doctoral degree. He has presented his work at national and international conferences and has memberships in the American Mathematical Society and the Association for Women in Mathematics. John, who trained first as a musician before studying math, aims to help his students discover the utility as well as the beauty of mathematics. He has served as a Cub Scout leader and youth mentor and spent years playing low brass in a marching band.
