BV Swimming and Diving: 2011 Season Roundup

Overall Record: 4-4 in regular season dual meets. Placed 2nd at New England Prep School Championships.
Versus Andover: Loss 124-61

The boys team entered the New England championship meet on March 5 knowing that unseating Andover was going to be a long-shot given PEA's loss to Andover the previous week. Getting past Suffield, whom they had beaten 98-88 and Deerfield, whom they had lost to 97-89, was a more realistic goal. As it turned out, Exeter had a great meet finishing behind Andover, but edging out Deerfield by 2 points to take the second overall position in the championship meet.

Enroute to their 2nd place finish, the team broke two New England records in the meet:

4x200 free: 1:24.98 J Shepley, W Parker, A Reavill, B Reavill
4x400 free: 3:08.34 A Reavill, B Reavill, D McIntire, J Shepley
