Clock is Ticking Down...
The excitement is building among PEA's athletes and student body as Exeter/Andover weekend is now only a few days away.

For students, weekend events begin with a pep rally assembly on Friday, followed later that evening by the annual bonfire and Phelps Stadium rally.

For followers of PEA teams, this is a great opportunity to see many teams in action during the course of the day on Saturday, and support them as they take on their archrival, Andover.

For many of the senior football players, the Exeter/Andover game is the highlight of their careers. As they prepare for the game, they know their season is on the line. Co-Captain Charlie Gill describes the focus and intensity needed for this game: "Andover is the final game of the season for us, so we go in with the mindset that we can't leave anything back; we have to leave everything out on the field. We have time to recover afterward because we don't have another team to prepare for, so we can really put our bodies on the line. To beat Andover, we need to bring an intensity and fire that we haven't [yet] brought this season."

Fellow Co-Captain Max Eberhart says it's important not to take Andover lightly because of their record. "In order for us to beat Andover, we cannot underestimate them. They are winless so far this season, but they are probably the best 0-6 team you'll see. They have some size upfront and some very athletic players. Our offensive and defensive lines need to work as units, and we can't give up any big plays. Exeter/Andover is a season in itself. Records don't matter. The team that wants it more will be the team that wins. A win in the Andover game would make our season."
