Green Flag Program and PEA Campus Sustainability

On Tuesday May 23, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m., a panel from Green Mountain College, a leading institution in environmental campus sustainability, will discuss issues relating to campus sustainability. Members of the panel will include Service Learning and Sustainability Coordinator Jesse Pyles, and faculty members Stephen Fesmire, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Department of Environmental Studies and Heather Keith, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor of Philosophy who specialize in environmental ethics. The event will take place in the Academy Center Forum and refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend.

During Assembly on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, Exeter students will receive awards for the completion of a school-wide environmental assessment, Stage One of the Green Flag Program, a nationally recognized environmental awards program designed to empower students to make positive change toward a healthier, more environmentally friendly school.
