Phillips Exeter Student from Massachusetts Awarded Siemens Foundation Scholarship

EXETER, NH (March 31, 2010)—Beverly, MA, senior, Anubhav Sinha, has been named a 2009–2010 New Hampshire state winner of the Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement. In honor of his accomplishment, he will receive a college scholarship of $2,000 from the Siemens Foundation. The Phillips Exeter Academy student will learn more details of his scholarship later this spring.  

Sinha was selected for the award based on his exceptional performance in Advanced Placement Math and Science classes. The Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement are awarded annually to one male and female each, in each of the 50 states. The award for Advanced Placement exemplifies the strong partnership between the Siemens Foundation and the College Board to expand the pool of talent in math, science and technology needed for growth of business and industry in the U.S. and globally.
