Golf: 2010 Season Roundup

Overall Record: 11-1
Results vs. Andover: 8-6 in match play; 1063-1077 in medal play (win by 14 strokes)

1st Place at Newport: Simon Allan was medalist
7th at Kingwood: Simon Allan 12th, Austin Cheng 14th
6th overall at Pippy O'Connor: Alexandra Fuiks 4th

The team was a dominant force this season led by Jake Abrahams, Simon Allan, Austin Cheng, Jeremy Plante and Sean Coleman. They regained both the Witherspoon and Lovell Cups against Phillips Andover and Governors this year.

The 1st place finish in the Newport Invitational tournament at the Newport CC was the highlight of an outstanding season. Simon Allan earned Medalist honors in the first-ever sudden death playoff. In the Kingswood-Oxford, we finished 7th with Simon Allan placing 12th and Austin Cheng placing 14th.

The 4 girls played at the Pippy O'Connor Invitational. In very tough conditions, Alexandra Fuiks was able to shoot 84 and finished 4th.

It was a true team effort as 13 different players won matches and contributed to winning medal scores in our matches. The golf team continues to be one of the premier golf teams in New England.
