Gordon Coole, M.Ed., L.A.T.C.
Head Athletic Trainer

Gordon joined the PEA faculty in 1987. Prior to joining the Exeter team he earned his B.S. from University of New Hampshire and his M.Ed. from University of Virginia, and worked at Boston University.  He is a member of the Safety, Athetic Policy, Environmental and Mind-Body committees as well as the Wellness Council. He has served as President of both the New Hampshire Athletic Trainers Association and the Independent School Health Association and is a member of the NEPSAC Sports Medicine Advisory Council. During his time here, Gordon has lived and worked in several dorms and recently moved off campus with his wife Tracy, and his sons Devon and Finley.

Breanne Piatt, M.S., L.A.T.C.
Assistant Athletic Trainer

Breanne joined the Exeter team in September 2005 after working at Lynchburg College as an athletic trainer and instructor in the athletic training program. She earned her B.S. from the University of Connecticut and holds an M.S. in Athletic Training from Indiana State University. Breanne is a member of the PEA Safety Committee and the National AthleticTrainer's Associations Women in Athletic Training Committee.  Breanne is currently pursuing her massage therapy certification.  Additionally, she has a special interest in hydration issues and proper stretching techniques. She resides in Gould House with her husband Luke, golden retriever Chloe, and two cats.  In her free time, she likes to ski, rock climb, hike, and spend time with her family.

Dave Brummert, L.A.T.C.

Intern, Athletic Training

Dave came on board at PEA in August 2007 after earnng a B.S. in Kinesiology/Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire.  He hails from the small town of Canton, Connecticut.  He spent his sophomore summer riding his bicycle 4000 miles from New Haven, CT to Seattle, WA to help build houses for Habitat for Humanity.  Upon arriving in Seattle, Dave got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Seattle Mariners Major League Baseball game.  In high school, Dave was a two-time state finalist for wrestling and played baseball.  He lives in Webster North on the fourth floor, and enjoys hiking, frisbee, baseball, and cycling.  Dave is a licensed and nationally-certified Athletic Trainer who plans to spend the upcoming summer traveling around Europe and running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
