Dining Services hosts many special events throughout the year, from monthly birthday parties and internationally-themed events to holiday parties and celebations.

Students carve pumpkins and eat "Tombstone Brownies" at Halloween,  vote for their favorite cereal on Election Day, make valentines and decorate valentine cookies, and celebrate opening day of the Red Sox at Boston's Fenway Park.  They enjoy a sumptuous Thanksgiving dinner and celebrate all holidays during December’s all-school Holiday Feast. February's Jazz Brunch is a highlight of the winter term, where students might find crème brûlée French toast, decadent desserts and many other delicacies (and sometimes a chocolate fountain!) while listening to live Jazz performed by faculty and students in a transformed-for-the-day Elm Street Dining Hall

The dining halls celebrate religious traditions. During Ramadan fasting students have access to food after hours. Indian treats are available during Diwali. Fish is served every Friday during Lent. Matzo and unleavened foods are available during Passover and at the Seder dinner.

Have an idea for a fun event?  Give us your suggestions, either on a comment card found in the Dinng halls or online.
