Approximately 280 residential and day students who are U.S. citizens or international students and have completed grades seven or eight. 




There are eight academic clusters for students to choose from: Creative Design and Purpose for a Changing World, The Land and the Sea, Problem-Solving: An Odyssey of the Mind, A Global Community, The Creative Arts: Let Your Spirit Soar, or Exeter C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation, The Shape of Things, and Classics: Reliving the Ancient World. Classes meet Monday through Saturday, with each course meeting five times a week. ACCESS EXETER students should expect nightly homework assignments and will be expected to prepare fully for each day's class discussion and activities.

Educational Excursions:

Each cluster will participate in off-campus educational excursions during the summer which relates to their course of study.  

Extracurricular Course:

The Academic Approach® SSAT Preparation course can be taken for an additional fee.


Multiple sports are offered in two different sessions. Students can also participate in Crew or an advanced soccer club for an additional fee.

Performing Arts:

Students may participate in Glee Club or the orchestra, or take private music lessons for an additional fee.


Chaperoned off-campus excursions to cultural and recreational sites in New England. On-campus events feature dances, dorm gatherings for cookouts, and other social events.
