An Apprenticeship in Residential School Teaching

All application materials must be postmarked by January 21, 2013. Applications will not be considered for review until all of the requirements listed below have been received. Please note that it is your responsibility to verify that all of the required documents have been received by our office.

SUMMER SCHOOL TEACHING INTERNSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Teaching Intern Application Form  (Please complete this application form before submitting your other application materials.)
  • Current Resume
  • Official Transcripts
  • Essay describing your interest in applying for a Teaching Internship at Phillips Exeter Academy Summer School
  • Two Letters of Recommendation by current/recent professors or supervisors of education-related work experience. These letters must include the Teaching Intern Recommendation Form.  Please supply your recommenders with a copy of this form. (Letters of Recommendation must come directly to us from the recommenders.)

Complete applications will be reviewed by the Intern Selection Committee. Applications are reviewed in January and February and all applicants will be notified with our decisions by mid-March. If the Committee deems it necessary, they may contact applicants for phone or in-person interviews.
