Lodging Information

 

Dorm Room Accommodations

We are pleased to offer conference participants dormitory accommodations at no additional charge.  Dorm rooms are standard boarding rooms and are not air conditioned.  Each room includes:

  • an extra-long twin bed
  • linens *
  • a desk
  • dresser
  • lamp
  • blanket
  • closet

    •  *   We provide linen bundles in each room including 2 flat sheets, a pillow, pillowcase and 2 small bath towels.  We highly recommend you bring your own pillow, an extra-long fitted sheet and a wash cloth. 

    Dorms are single-sex buildings due to shared bathrooms.  Bathrooms are communal, so you may want to pack a pair of flip flops for the shower.  All dorm rooms are single occupancy unless you request another conference attendee as your roommate on the registration form.

    Coed Accommodations:  We have a very limited number of co-ed rooms on campus.  These rooms are reserved for our summer school faculty, conference leaders, and couples both attending a conference.    

    Dorm Room Checkout:  You must check out of your dorm room by 9:00 a.m. on Friday.  Summer School students move in the following Sunday.  Complete check out instructions will be provided in your registration packet.

     

    Off Campus Lodging Options

    We realize some people prefer the amenities of hotels or inns.   If you choose to stay off-campus, below is a list of local lodging options.  Each of these hotels/Inns offer a special discounted rate for conference attendees.  When calling for a reservation, mention you are attending a summer teacher conference at Phillips Exeter Academy.  As a reminder, the cost of off-site lodging is not part of the conference fee.  You are responsible for your own hotel reservation and payment.
