I grew up in Southern Maine and attended Gould Academy for high school. The four years I spent at a boarding school were transformational and ultimately led me to a career in independent schools. While at Gould, I participated in a number of clubs, including Gold Key, which was a student volunteer group that worked with the Alumni Office. After graduation, as a way to give back to the school I love, I served on the Gould Alumni Board from 2012 to 2018. My roles on the board included being chair of the Alumni Weekend Committee, board secretary and a member of the Nomination Committee.

After college, I worked as a project manager and as a public relations and event manager prior to starting a career in education. I worked at Tilton School as the director of engagement and events for five years before starting at Exeter in 2017. My focuses at Tilton were school communications and alumni and parent engagement, and I coordinated all on- and off-campus events. I enjoyed additional roles as an adviser, as a chaperone for trips abroad and on dorm duty.

At Exeter, I have had the privilege of working with dedicated volunteers planning class reunions and regional events. My work is now focused on family engagement both on and off campus, as well as student programming. My passion for working with students on engagement opportunities has come full circle now that I am overseeing the STARs Council, a student volunteer group similar to that of Gould’s Gold Key. In addition to work in alumni and parent relations, I serve as a member of the Family Engagement Committee and the Gender Inclusion Project Team.
