Meet the Team

The Phillips Exeter Academy seal

What an honor for me to represent the Academy for the Office of Institutional Advancement since 1995! Alumni have fascinating stories about their journeys before, during and after Exeter. Their Exeter education was usually transformative, and alumni want to give back. Matching the philanthropic interests of alumni with the Academy’s priorities is a privilege for me.

Jenifer FogelPrimary tabs

Jen grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Hartwick College, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History. She pursued a career in sales and event planning in Boston before starting a family. Jen has been at Phillips Exeter for more than 10 years; she started in the Major Gifts Department and has been in the Office of Parent Giving for three years. She lives in Newburyport, Massachusetts, with her family and family dog.

Ally Goddard

I grew up in Southern Maine and attended Gould Academy for high school. The four years I spent at a boarding school were transformational and ultimately led me to a career in independent schools. While at Gould, I participated in a number of clubs, including Gold Key, which was a student volunteer group that worked with the Alumni Office. After graduation, as a way to give back to the school I love, I served on the Gould Alumni Board from 2012 to 2018.

Jan Gosselin

As a member of The Exeter Fund team, I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and working with our dedicated and talented volunteers as we educate, engage with and solicit alumni for their philanthropic support of The Exeter Fund.

A few of my hobbies include weekend walks on Rye Beach, reading, sailing (if it’s not too windy) and, most importantly, spending time with my husband, my three grown children and my six (soon to be seven) grandchildren.

Porter Hayes

I grew up in Exeter, so I am excited to be back home.  Before joining the office of Institutional Advancement, I spent six years working in the Exeter Admissions Office as an associate director of admissions, and prior to that, I spent four years at Pomfret School as assistant director of admissions and international student coordinator.  Before working at Pomfret School, I worked in the front office at Major League Lacrosse and the Boston Celtics.

Ashley Healy

Ashley Healy joined The Exeter Fund team as an associate director in 2017. She is responsible for managing the fundraising volunteers in both reunion and non-reunion years for the classes of the 1980s and 1990s, as well as several of the 1950s. She was first introduced to the nonprofit world when she co-founded a fundraising software company in 2015 with the goal of helping nonprofit organizations automate their small-donor fundraising.
