Meet the Team

Dawn Perkins

My road to Exeter was paved by business, tradition and family.

Chuck Ramsay

Chuck is a 1988 graduate of Deerfield Academy in Deerfield, Massachusetts, and a 1992 graduate of Hobart College in Geneva, New York. Immediately after graduating from Hobart, he started his career in academic administration as an admissions officer at his alma mater. He remained at Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges for six years, the last three as a major gift officer in their development office. In 1998, he arrived at Phillips Exeter Academy as a regional director of major gifts and worked as part of the team in Gilman House advancing the mission of the Academy through the

Laura Schwartz

At no other time in my life have I been immersed in such a rich environment as during my four years as an Exeter student (though I do not miss the homework!). It is with joy and gratefulness that I can experience Exeter again, through the lens of my two sons (classes of 2020 and 2022). They are making friends from around the globe, finding their voices around the table and exploring new interests. It is fun to watch!

Walter Tate

Walter Tate

Director of Advancement Strategic Planning and Analytics

I grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and joined the Academy in 2013. After spending close to 20 years bridging business and technology initiatives for portfolio management, securities trading and investment administration in the financial services industry, I appreciate having the opportunity to bring new ideas and concepts to the Academy by collaborating and creating solutions to help align people, process and technology while increasing operational effectiveness and philanthropic support.

Lynn Taylor

Before becoming director of The Exeter Fund in 2016, I spent nearly nine years as one of the Academy’s regional directors of major gifts. One experience has enriched the other, and I enjoy the opportunity to connect with more alumni each year and am honored to lead a program that directly impacts the Exeter experience for every student.

Tracy West

Before joining The Exeter Fund team in 2011, I spent five years at Colby-Sawyer College as the assistant director of alumni relations and annual giving. Prior to that, I worked as a special events manager for the American Diabetes Association, coordinating the Tour de Cure (cycling) events. I grew up on Cape Cod and currently live in Exeter with my husband, Keith, our 5-year-old twins, Kaleb and Harper, and two dogs.

Jan Woodford

I grew up locally and spent a lot of free time in Exeter as a teenager. The Ioka and Friendly’s were favorite hangouts. I commuted to UNH from home and was fortunate to be able to spend many hours in the Academy library studying and meeting students from around the world.

Dawn Yorke

I joined the Academy in the Office of Institutional Advancement in March 2010 as the history file coordinator. In April 2011, I stayed with the Operations team, moving into my current role of data management specialist. My responsibilities include supporting all facets of Advancement by ensuring the integrity of constituent data and all related processes. I also work in gift processing and spend time throughout the year working with the alumni and parent team supporting events such as reunions and family weekend.

Lori Zaniboni

Lori graduated from New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, earning an undergraduate degree in 2007 and a master’s in Management in 2008. She started her career in Development as an annual giving officer at NEC. She remained at NEC for nearly five years, the last two as the director of the annual fund. In 2012, she started at Keene State College as the annual giving director, and stayed for nearly three years. Lori’s career at Phillips Exeter Academy began in April 2015 as the associate director of The Exeter Fund.
