Online Bill Pay FAQs

What is Online Billing and Payment?

All Phillips Exeter Academy billing parents and authorized users, such as parents, guardians, or sponsors, will be able to view tuition and fees bills and make secured payments electronically through our online billing service.

How Does Online Billing and Payment Work?

The billing parent will be notified at the e-mail address we have on file whenever an online bill is generated. You should, then, logon to the Parent Portal and click the “Billing and Enrollment” tab, or use the link and credentials provided in your emailed instructions to get to Phillips Exeter Academy's online billing website.

As the billing parent if you change your email address please let us know so we can update our records.

Is the Online Billing Website Secure?

Yes. The technical architecture/security of the online billing website provides for intrusion detection and firewall systems to protect the network.

Can I authorize others to view and/or pay bills?

To authorize users go to the “Authorized Users” tab on the PEA online billing site, then follow the instructions. You will be asked to provide e-mail addresses for all third-party payers, and choose whether they should see billing statements, or account activity. Once authorized, they will be notified by e-mail and they can choose a password, and setup their profile.

How do I make an Online Payment?

Billing parents, or authorized users can make payments electronically any day of the week from a checking or statement savings account from a bank within the United States. Payments will be transferred electronically to Phillips Exeter Academy. You may keep your bank account information on the website or enter it each time you make an online payment.

Payment can also be made by several major credit cards.

Authorized users will only be able to view their own payment and bank information. Each authorized payer is assigned a separate password for added security and privacy.

Does Phillips Exeter Academy accept credit cards?

Electronic payments can be made online via electronic check (ACH) or credit card. We have contracted with a service (PayPath) to process payments using several major credit cards. This service is administered by TouchNet and a fee of 2.95% of the total amount charged to the credit card is applied.

Do you accept payments from foreign bank accounts?

Phillip Exeter Academy's online billing system cannot accept payments from foreign bank accounts. If you cannot pay your bill through a bank account in the United States, we accept international wire through FlyWire. We do not accept international wires directly.
