Brendan A. Evans

Biography

Guitarist Brendan Evans has performed, taught, and won prizes throughout the United States and in over a dozen countries throughout the world. Upon graduating Exeter in 2001 he pursued bachelor's and master's degrees in classical guitar performance at the Oberlin and San Francisco conservatories and settled in Philadelphia in 2008 to begin his career as a performer and educator. Upended by the pandemic, he found himself back home in Rockport, Massachusetts, and is honored to be amongst the ranks of Exeter's music faculty as he starts a new chapter in his musical life.
