Sarah Hoffmaster

Admissions Adviser

B.S. University of New Hampshire

I am excited and grateful to be part of the Admissions team at Exeter. Growing up and now raising my family in Kensington, NH, I have always loved walking and running through campus, enjoying the beautiful sights and scenery of Exeter. One might say I have always been enchanted by Exeter, the historic buildings, beautiful campus, competitive athletic teams, academic excellence and the positive energy on campus.

In June 2022, my dream to work with a collaborative and forward-thinking group of individuals came true, bolstered by my love for Exeter and my passion for helping students and families. What I love most about my job is working with prospective students and families from all corners of the world, supporting them through the application process and a significant milestone in life. I am enthusiastic about all that Exeter has to offer students, staff and faculty both inside and outside the classroom. To collaborate with a team of colleagues who value your opinion, while serving others to be better versions of themselves, is second to none.

I received my B.S. in health management and policy at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining the team at Exeter, I worked in the adventure-based counseling and mental health field. In 2006, my husband and I started our family, and I have raised three beautiful and kind children while working in the advertising and media industry and in public education.

In my free time you can find me outdoors, on a basketball court or athletic field, coaching and watching my kids do what they love most! I love running, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, yoga and walking in the woods with my dog, family and friends. Spending family time with my kids, husband and our dog is at the top of my list. One fun fact about me: I grew up on a third-generation dairy farm in Kensington, NH, with my mom, dad, sister and 300-plus cows. I strive every day to live my best life and help others to do the same.
