The Lamont Gallery presents ”Rock, Paper, Scissors: 50 Years of Exeter Fine Crafts.” Celebrate the work of the hand and the heart in this new exhibition, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of Exeter Fine Crafts (EFC). Exeter Fine Crafts features fiber art, jewelry and metal work, printmaking, glass, clay, woodworking, beading and much more by member artists from across New England. In 1966, EFC opened as an outgrowth of the Exeter Home Industries Group and as a satellite gallery for the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen. Throughout its history, EFC’s mission has remained the same: to use its gallery and programming to support the work of craftspeople in New England and preserve and promote handcrafted arts so they will continue to be a visible, vital, and cherished part of our cultural heritage.

New Hampshire has a rich tradition of supporting and promoting fine craft, which has been a catalyst for social, civic, and economic development throughout the state. Come see the unique artistry of more than 60 craftspeople working in the region today.
