For participants in all Exeter for Educators conferences

General Financial Assistance

Phillips Exeter Academy provides a limited amount of financial assistance for educators from secondary schools with limited or no professional development funding.

Eligibility: Participants from all conferences are invited to apply. All teaching certifications and credentials must be current. Online applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Please Note: We have closed scholarship applications for the Exeter Humanities Institute in New Hampshire and the Environmental Literature Institute. Scholarships are still available for all other conferences.

For participants in the Anja S. Greer Conference on Mathematics and Technology

Timothy B. Gutmann Scholarship

In memory of Timothy Byron Gutmann and his early contributions to the Anja S. Greer Conference, the scholarship provides two schools in the northern New England states of Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire two full scholarships each. All teaching certifications and credentials must be current. To be considered, please complete an online application by April 1, 2024. Awards are decided on a rolling basis and consideration for funding will be based on eligibility of application.

 

For conference participants from Poughkeepsie, New York

Poughkeepsie Scholarship

This full scholarship is for secondary public school educators from Poughkeepsie, New York, to attend any conference.

Eligibility: Must teach in Poughkeepsie, New York. All teaching certifications and credentials must be current. For all inquiries, please contact Lauren Rosen, conference manager, by April 1, 2024; awards are decided on a rolling basis. Consideration for funding will be based on eligibility and merit of application.
