Biography

Marina Krickler is a sought-after musician and educator throughout New England. Hailed for her “soaring… warmly played” solos (Boston Classical Review), she is currently Fourth Horn with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, and performs extensively with many of the region’s ensembles. A musician with diverse abilities, she frequently appears with new music ensembles such as Sound Icon, and with period ensembles including Grand Harmonie, and La Donna Musicale. Ms. Krickler is a member of Bala Brass, and the co-founder of Andromeda Quintet, a brass chamber ensemble dedicated to creating adventurous listening experiences. Her solo work includes performances with Haffner Sinfonietta, and Symphony Nova. A third-generation educator, Ms. Krickler enjoys teaching students of all ages, and has presented masterclasses in both the United States and Canada. She holds faculty appointments at the University of New Hampshire, College of the Holy Cross, Phillips Exeter Academy, and All Newton Music School.
