Biography

Dan studied government and litigation law before becoming a math teacher. He comes to Exeter after nearly a decade of work at the Tilton School in New Hampshire, where he was involved in all aspects of boarding school life: serving as chair of the Mathematics Department, dorm head, coach for boys soccer and basketball, and head of the Discipline Committee. Dan is the author of “The Back Page: My Favorite Lesson: Chess Piece(wise) Project,” published in Mathematics Teacher (Volume 104, Issue 5).
