Biography

Harmony Costopulos is a licensed clinical social worker, licensed to practice independently in both New Hampshire and Maine. She received a bachelors degree in Psychology in 1996 and a Masters in Social Work in 1999 from the University of Maine. She also did a semester abroad at Sunderland University in England. Ms. Costopulos has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field working with children and adults in varying capacities.

Ms.  Costopulos has worked with the adolescent and young adult population for a majority of her career in settings such as highly secured residential facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient therapy, medical offices and recently at a university. She has also had over 20 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric hospitals working with adolescents, adults with substance use disorders and children with autism spectrum disorder. Ms. Costopulos takes a client centered approach as a therapist and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and crisis management.

Ms. Costopulos was adopted at a young age from Bangladesh, grew up in New England, and has now lived in Exeter for 20 years. She lives with her two teenage daughters, Sofia and Yasmin. In her free time, she enjoys being active, traveling and spending time with her family. She has future goals of planting a rose garden and perfecting her golf swing.
