Soccer - Girls V

Exeter girls soccer plays a highly competitive schedule against the top independent programs in the NEPSAC. During the season we work with our strength and conditioning coaches to complement our soccer-specific training. We train and play on a full size natural grass field, and believe that focused training, teamwork, and spirit are the keys to our success. The Varsity and JV work together to provide a cohesive soccer program stressing technical and tactical development, conditioning, and continuous improvement.

Bridgette Martin was strong in goal as she thwarted 15 Choate shot attempts, but Choate was able to capitalize and find the back of the net three times to sink Big Red. Alex Singh was strong in the middle of the field for Big Red. Exeter will look to get in the win column at Brooks on Wednesday.

Jannah Maguire scored the first goal of her career as Exeter and Brooks worked to a 1-1 draw. Bridgette Nelson was strong in net for Big Red while Kate Mautz, Lyric Zimmerman, and Kaylee Bennett all performed well in the field.

An Esme Shields goal midway through the second half evened the score at 1-1, but Brewster was able to add a tally late to earn the 2-1 win. Big Red keeper Sami Smith was outstanding in goal, breaking up several Brewster scoring chances while Kaylee Bennett earned the assist on Exeter's lone goal
